Blackpool

Beach, sea music, whale tales, spades, tattoos, observations, emotions, intuitions, sand... lots of sand. And sieving material enough to send me into night... :)

Have landed in the faerie house... Inhabited (besides humans) by felines, half of whom were soundly asleep on my bed (which, btw, is in the Fair Pink Princess section of the house), another half kept a watchful eye on me through banisters (Rex). Was lulled into total self admiration by a slapstick confirmation of own fuzzy visions, and fed some Armenian marvels UK style which made my taste buds sing a most unusual tune, "...if all fast food would be like this, we would be fastfoodians inc...". Am in K-land. :)

A Moment :)

Marcher par la Seine

They sing, they walk, they lay, they dance, they do chi gong, they run, they sit, they... make the best of Seine. And so did we.

Déjeuner dans le coeur de Paris

Lunch with the walking encyclopedia Fred led to photo exhibit, best Belgian chocolate under the sun and a culture shock of the brutal blending of new and old in the very heart of Paris... If any city can do it, yes, this is the one. But there is nothing a good pistachio truffle cannot cure. :)

Bastille and street art

Paris does it to me every time... Makes me feel at home. To sit in a street café with cafe au lait and pain de chocolate, listen to people, bikes and birds and hear the city's heart slowly beating beneath it all. It wipes the mind of senseless chatter and fills the heart with peace. And life. And love... à votre santé! :)

Tallinn in the afternoon

First you walk through the Old Town gates, then you marvel at the flower stands, grab a bag of smokey almonds from the Olde Hansa stand, walk and sight-see and munch so that the last bite will be eaten by the time you reach Vene street and Chocolates de Pierre. Then you must take some time off, order couple of delightful truffles with cappuccino (equally delightful) and consume it all in their quaint little courtyard. Very slowly. Then you can stroll to the Kissing Hill or simply wander off into the city... But stick to the old bits. They will breathe with you. :)

One walk

What can you see on one walk? You can see tiny little pine cones of most unusual color, veins on the leaves when the sun shines through them, you see the sleeves ripping on a little person who is trying to hold on to the swing with all his might, the smell of a bird-cherry because the air is thick with it, a crooked smile on a friend's face telling you that you are on the same train, a spoon that is oh so different, a bird, perhaps even a bee. I did not see a bee. But it is all good. :)
