This is not Roberta. I don't know his name but I know this - he lives in a tree hanging over the inlet in Normandy Shores. And he is shy.

This shot was captured a second before he took off. I was fiddling with my settings and Almost missed it. Almost. :)

Took a walk on the beach today... When winds are high and people scarce, the beach is at its best...

Be Merry ...

The New World has begun (must have, as the old one ended on the 21st; gotta believe the ancients, doesn't really matter so much whether it was true or ... perhaps they just ran out of space) smack in the middle of the Merry Season, and that must mean something. Something like: There is a reason to be merry, season or not, in our Brave Beautiful New World. Let's have JOY! :)
